The Wind In The Willows (chapter 1)

I wrote this story when I just turned 6 years old. So, please forgive the grammar mistake(s).

The Wind In The Willows (chapter 1)

Once upon a time, there lived a mole in his hole. He was cleaning his hole. Then when he finished, he went out and take (grammar mistake) some fresh air. The frogs were croaking and the bees were buzzing. Then, he saw a pair of eyes in a hole by the river then it came closer and clearer, closer and clearer and out came his friend, Water Rat. "Why, hello." said Water Rat. The mole wanted to get across the river but he could not swim so water rat gave him a boat ride. Then mole said "I want to row a boat." "Have you ever rided(rode) a boat?" asked Water Rat. "No." mole replied. "Don't tell me you never rided(rode) a boat!" but before Water Rat could finish, mole already griped  the sticks on  Ratty's hand. He rowed the boat, but since he never rided(rode) a boat or rowed a boat before, the boat began to sink. "Splash!" the boat sank. Ratty pulled him out of the water and covered him with a blanket. They began talking about toad and his new caravan while they had a picnic. They decided they would visit toad and his new caravan tomorrow.

  2. Considering your age (just turned 6) and English being your secondary language, I think this is amazing!
