The Mysterious Parcel
One day, Alex the delivery man, received a parcel which he had to deliver urgently. It was blue, square box and it had a red ribbon on it.
He read the address on the parcel. The name "Ally" was written neatly in bold block letters. Its address was No. 11, Fox Street, 20000, Sydney. Alex knew the place. All the delivery men would not want to go there. It was eerie and creepy there.
Alex walked up the hill to Fox Street. It was a very long trip, so he had packed his lunch in his bag. When he stopped to take a break, he heard some noises from the parcel. It also moved a little.
"What on earth is that?" Alex wondered.
He finished eating his lunch quickly and continued walking up the hill.
Alex reached the hill top about an hour later. He was breathless and exhausted. When he rang the bell, a girl opened the door. Alex was too shy to look at her. The girl took the parcel and opened it carefully. It was a cat! She was over the moon. Alex heaved a sigh of relief when he realized that it was only a cat.
On his way back, Alex took a short nap under a tree. Half an hour later, he went back to his house. The girl's house wasn't so creepy after all.
