The Island (Part 1)
At a town in the middle of nowhere, there lived a boy named Samuel. His family was very poor. One day, he went on his wooden boat to catch some fish. While he was fishing, he heard a familiar voice.
"Hi, Samuel!" shouted the voice.
It was his friend, Daniel. "Hi!" Samuel shouted back. Daniel was just buying tickets for the Ocean Cruise. Daniel's family was richer than Samuel's family. "Do you want to come with me on the Ocean Cruise? I'll pay for you." Daniel said. "Sure," replied Samuel, "I just need to ask my mother."
Samuel ran back home after catching some fish to ask his mother if he could go on the Ocean Cruise with his friend Daniel. "Sure." replied his mother. So he packed all his supplies and went out. "Wait!" shouted his mother. "Where are the fish?". "Oh! They are right here." and Samuel gave the fish to his mom.
On the Ocean Cruise, Samuel was enjoying the view while chatting with Daniel. When they were far away from their homes, they saw an island.
