The Island (Part 3)

Meanwhile, it had had been hours after the ships sank. It was on the newspaper. Samuel's mom kept calm and was thinking of solutions. "If only we knew whether they survived and if they did, where they are."

At the island, Daniel and Samuel were also thinking of solutions. While they were thinking, they saw a helicopter fly across the sky above them.

"Look!" shouted Daniel, "The helicopters are looking for us!" "But how do we get them to find us?" asked Samuel. "I know how." replied Daniel.

The island before they acted out Daniel's plan:

The helicopters found them and everyone else on the cruise including the guests, the sailors, the workers, Daniel and Samuel.

When Samuel was back home, his mother was as happy as a clam at high tide."*Thank goodness you're safe! I thought you bought the farm!"* his mother cried tears of joy and hugged Samuel.
